MULTI-MATERIAL MANUFACTURING: INDUSTRIAL APPROACHES & SOLUTIONS
This workshop will be organised in the framework of the EU Industry Week and will serve as a forum where Industry Stakeholders and Research Experts could share experiences and knowledge and bring discussions about Multi-materials Manufacturing Challenges in order to develop common visions and roadmaps for the Future.
Multi-material components are the solution for the reduction of emissions in transport using the optimum material for each function allowing ultimately a higher performance/cost ratio than bulk materials leading to more efficient resources use. In addition, multi-material combinations can improve the functionality of parts by making feasible more complex designs.
In this event we will cover the priorities of Europe in relation with Excellence in Manufacturing: advanced and automated processes, zero defects and environmental sustainability to preserve EU leadership in the most advanced SoA production technologies.
This event is organised by ComMunion Project and AIMEN, leader of the Consortium. We will have the support of other FoF projects like Flexhyjoin and Lay2form
